Our primary focus this year were:
- Replace old worn out barbells and spring collars.
- Provide more scaling options for kettlebells and med balls.
- Put stacks of barbell plates on wheels to make them more accessible during weightlifting sessions.
- Expand programming options with sandbags.

About Annual Equipment Fees
Every year, each CrossFit Artifact member contributes $50 towards gym equipment purchases & upgrades. This is known as the Annual Equipment Fee (AEF) which we collect during the month of January.
The reason we do this is not only for safety because equipment wear down over time, become less effective, and eventually needs replaced, we also take this opportunity to expand our programming options and make quality of life upgrades. Every dollar goes back into the gym itself to make it even better.
Each member has the option to opt out of contributing to the AEF during their first year of membership. The AEF is required for all membership past their first year.
