We hosted our second Bring a Friend Week October 24th through October 29th and it was an absolute blast.

We had 70 visits from your friends and family during the week, which is amazing! It’s always fun to work out with friends. The saying “the more the merrier” rang true throughout the whole week.

With classes filled to overflowing, we partnered up and hit several of the workouts in teams of two. From rowing to wall balls, running to dumbbell snatches, we hit all of the movements in stride.

One of our favorite parts of Bring a Friend Week is hearing what our guests think of our gym, the workouts, and CrossFit. Some of our favorite comments included how inclusive CrossFit is for literally anyone. What looked like an impossible task was easily scaled for a new member. This new member loved that everyone in class was doing the same workout, but using weights that worked for their current fitness level.

That’s what it’s all about. CrossFit is infinitely scaleable, so regardless of where you’re at, you can walk in and work out alongside everyone else. Everyone leaves our CrossFit classes feeling accomplished!

Bring a Friend Week gives our members the opportunity to share their passion with others. One member commented that she wouldn’t have been someone to just “walk in off the street”. Bring a Friend Week allowed her to give CrossFit a try, and once she did, she was hooked.

Several friends and family members finished out the week with a new feeling of accomplishment. Many commented that they never thought they could do CrossFit, but after completing their first, then second, then third, and so-on, CrossFit WODs, their minds were changed.

This is what it’s all about! Having an entire week to share something you love with people you value makes all the difference.
